Afterwards the great success of the album Lisa Stansfield (dated 1997), with good positions in the dance charts especially in the USA, it was published also a remix album called The remix album, in which we can find 6 tracks from the same named album, in different versions for a total of 10 tracks. They are: I’m leavin (two versions Hex Hector radio and club mix), Never never gonna give you up (two versions, Frankie Knuckles mix and Hani mix), People hold on Dirty Rotten Scoundrels mix, already present as bonus track in the ’97 CD version album and re-proposed after the incredible success held, Never gonna fall (2 versions: Junior vasquez mix and Victor Calderone mix), The real thing (2 versions: Mark’s Good time disco vocal and Klassic mix) and last but not least The line The black science orchestra mix. The album was produced by Ian Devaney and co-produced by Peter Mokran, it was all mixed and put together Gracieland’s studio in Rochdale. Out of all the tracks highlighted, besides People hold on, Hex Hector versions of I’m leavin and The line beautiful version of The black science orchestra. Various parts of this album’s remix reached the 1st position in the dance charts. This album was on sale in the USA market in EP version and contains one less track: it is named The #1 remix.
