The album Biography is on sale in the market (already with the label BMG Arista) in February 2003: this is Lisa’s first Greatest Hits. During this period is well known that it will be the last one with that record company, even if this album definitely celebrates the British singer’s amazing career and with the following The complete collection it tries to maximize the sales at her favor proposing to the audience a lot of unpublished versions. The album contains all the Lisa Stansfield’s commercial successful songs and in 17 tracks we can entirely find the artist’s career even if other great pieces of her repertory weren’t included.
The album opens with the beautiful Change, Real Love greater success and a famous hit in Italy, and continues with Someday (I’m coming back) that is part of The bodyguard soundtrack and is maybe the soundtrack most sold in history with it’s 42 million copies, and then This is the right time, her first soloist’s single. Number 4 is The real thing from the same named album dated 1997 and one of the most successful singles. Track number 5 is People hold on featuring Coldcut that represents for Stansfield the confirmation as soloist and a great success “used” for the following dance remixes.

Real love is defenitely her most re-nowned album because of 4 hits from this collection, in which obtained good positions in the charts, especially in the UK. In Italy it’s 3rd and 9th, 46th in Germany, and 58th in switzerland. There’s also a DVD version of Biography together with an interview of Lisa with her 2 most famous clips.
